These Pokémon were distributed at Pokémon Center stores in Japan over a four month timeframe in five separate distribution periods. Three of the Pokémon distributed were selected via a poll, with Electivire and Magmortar automatically being part of the distribution.

The first Pokémon that was distributed was Electivire from November 15 to 30, 2007. This was followed by the distribution of Magmortar from December 1 to 14, 2007. The first Pokémon selected via the poll was Milotic, and was distributed from December 15, 2007 to January 14, 2008. After Milotic, Dragonite was distributed from January 15 to February 14, 2008. The final Pokémon distributed was Salamence, from February 15 to March 14, 2008.
