Marvel Scale (Japanese: ふしぎなうろこ Marvelous Scale) is an Ability introduced in Generation III. Prior to Generation V, it was the signature Ability of Milotic.

In battle

While the Pokémon with this Ability has a status condition, its Defense is increased by 50%.

Outside of battle

Marvel Scale has no effect outside of battle.
