Trump Card (Japanese: きりふだ Trump Card) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation IV.

Effect

Generations IV to VII

Trump Card inflicts damage and bypasses accuracy checks to always hit, unless the target is in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Dig or Fly.

Trump Card's power depends on the move's remaining PP after use (including applying Pressure), powering up when its PP is lower. Trump Card's power is calculated as follows:

In Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, the power of the move is increased approximately by 30%, 60%, 90%, and 120%, if the move has 4, 3, 2, or 1 PP, respectively.
