Generations I to V

Barrier increases the user's Defense by two stages.

Generations VI and VII

Barrier's PP was changed from 30 to 20.

If powered up by a Psychium Z into Z-Barrier, all of the user's lowered stats are reset.

Generation VIII

Barrier can no longer be selected in a battle.

Description

GSC Sharply increases user's Defense.
RSEColo.XD Creates a barrier that sharply raises Defense.
