Effect

Generation I

Bubble's power is 20. Bubble inflicts damage and has a 33.2% chance of lowering the target's Speed stat by one stage.

Generation II to V

Bubble now has a 10% chance of lowering the target's Speed stat by one stage.

Bubble targets both opposing Pokémon in Double Battles. In a Triple Battle, Bubble will only hit opposing adjacent Pokémon.

Bubble can also be used as part of a Pokémon Contest combination, with the user gaining extra two appeal points if the move Rain Dance was used in the prior turn.

Generations VI and VII

Bubble's power changed from 20 to 40. In Horde Encounters, it will target all opponents.

Generation VIII

In Pokémon Sword and Shield and Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Bubble cannot be selected in a battle.

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Bubble inflicts damage and has no secondary effect.

DPPtHGSSPBR A spray of countless bubbles is jetted at the foe. It may also lower the target's Speed stat.
BWB2W2 A spray of countless bubbles is jetted at the opposing team. It may also lower the targets' Speed stats.
XYORAS A spray of countless bubbles is jetted at the opposing Pokémon. This may also lower their Speed stats.
SMUSUMPE A spray of countless bubbles is jetted at the opposing Pokémon. This may also lower their Speed stat.
SwShBDSP This move can't be used. It's recommended that this move is forgotten. Once forgotten, this move can't be remembered.
LA The user attacks the target with a spray of countless bubbles.

In Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team, Bubble has 4 base power, 15 PP and 88% accuracy. The attack travels up to 10 tiles away and hits the first Pokémon it encounters, ally or enemy, possibly lowering its Movement Speed by one level.

In Explorers of Time, Darkness and Sky, the move's PP has been decreased to 12, and its accuracy to 83.6%.

In Gates tot Infinity, the range was reduced to 4 tiles away instead of 10.
