Questions tagged [troubleshooting]

Use this tag when a logical or systematic search for the source of a problem in order to solve it is requested.

When a system or process suddenly stops working, following a methodical and logical process, to identify the source of the problem, is needed. This process often involves elimination of possible causes. When made sure that certain parts or procedures work the next part in the process can be checked until the source is identified. Often, troubleshooter guides can assist in this process.

It is also advised to make a demonstrator that focuses on the problem to make it easier to communicate with others.

Is this banding?

Are these vertical lines described as "banding"? Would the most likely culprit be the extruder? FWIW, this was printed in "vase mode".
