Rising Star (Trainer class)

A Rising Star (Japanese: ホープトレーナー Hope Trainer) is a type of Pokémon Trainer introduced in Generation VI. They seem to be younger versions of the Ace Trainer class, much like how the Veteran class is an older version.

One male and one female Rising Star can team up together to form a Rising Star Duo and challenge the player to a Double Battle.

In Generation VII, they keep their Pokémon in Great Balls.
