Trivia

  • Before forming a sync pair with Groudon, Maxie's sync partner was his Mightyena.

Origin

Maxie's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Groudon is a Pokémon that Maxie seeks to control during the story of Pokémon Ruby, Emerald, and Omega Ruby. An alternate version of Maxie also uses a Groudon in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Groudon's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Omega Ruby.
