Battlefield

The electrically powered battlefield of Violight features electric tiles, Electric Switches, and an Electric System. Only Electric- and Flying-type Pokémon, as well as Pokémon with the ability Levitate, can stand on electric tiles. Electric Switches can be stepped on in order to electrify an area of 4x4 tiles, except by Flying/Levitating Pokémon, dealing Electric-type damage to Pokémon hit by it. After the message "The Electric System has been activated!" appears, several tiles of the battlefield are hit with Electric-type damage.

Battles fought on Violight's battlefield are set to a maximum of 20 turns, and victory is seized by defeating all enemies. If both armies are still standing when all 20 turns have passed, the army defending Violight wins the battle.
