Debut Working My Way Back to Mew!

Ash and Goh first visited Vermilion Forest in Working My Way Back to Mew!, when Goh was keen to catch more Pokémon and fill the Pokédex. Whilst there, Ash and Goh encountered a variety of Wild Pokémon with Goh managing to successfully capture all of Kanto's Bug-types.

Ash and Goh visited Vermilion Forest once more in Trade, Borrow, and Steal!, where they hoped to find a Pinsir that Goh could trade to Kricketina Kylie in exchange for her Heracross. After an encounter with Team Rocket, Goh was able to catch a Pinsir that he later traded for Heracross.
