Sim Trainer (Trainer class)

A Sim Trainer (Japanese: バーチャルトレーナー Virtual Trainer) is type of Pokémon Trainer that debuted in Generation III. Their only appearance was in Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness.

In Colosseum, they appear in the Card e Room of the Japanese version and are scanned in from Pokémon Colosseum Double Battle e cards. They also have the unused English name of VR Trainer.

In XD, they appear as the 50 Trainers the player battles in Battle Sims. Sim Trainers named Losten and Jodlet appear in the tutorial battles at the Pokémon HQ Lab.
