Lycanium Z
The Lycanium Z (Japanese: ルガルガンＺ Lugarugan Z) is a type of Z-Crystal introduced in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. It is a Pokémon-specific Z-Crystal associated with Lycanroc and allows it to upgrade its Stone Edge into the special Z-Move Splintered Stormshards.

In the core series games
Can create Lycanium Z held items for the player's Pokémon.
In battle
Allows Lycanroc (or a Pokémon transformed into Lycanroc) to upgrade its Stone Edge into the special Z-Move Splintered Stormshards.
Unaffected by item negating effects (such as Embargo and Klutz). Item manipulating effects (such as Trick and Fling) cannot remove a Z-Crystal from a Pokémon.
Rayquaza cannot Mega Evolve if it holds a Z-Crystal.
Outside of battle
A held Lycanium Z is automatically removed if the Pokémon is traded between players.

In Guiding an Awakening!, Ash received a Lycanium Z from Nanu as a reward for passing the Ula'ula Island grand trial.

In Shock!! Father in the Pendant!, Kahili was revealed to have found a Lycanium Z during her six-month quest to gather as many different kinds of Z-Crystals as she could find.
