Dark Memory
The Dark Memory (Japanese: ダークメモリ Dark Memory) is a type of held item introduced in Generation VII. It is one of the memories that are associated with Silvally. It corresponds to the Dark type.

In battle
If the holder uses Multi-Attack, it becomes a Dark-type move.
RKS System changes a Silvally holding this item to its Dark-type form. Item-manipulating effects (such as Trick and Fling) cannot give Silvally a memory or remove a memory from Silvally.
Outside of battle
RKS System changes a Silvally holding this item to its Dark-type form.

A Dark Memory in the anime
In Mission: Total Recall!, after Gladion's Silvally broke free of its mask, Gladion used a Dark Memory to transform Silvally into a Dark type, allowing it to easily defeat Faba's Alakazam and Hypno.
Trivia
- The Japanese name of Dark Memory matches the English name of the Dark-type, instead of its Japanese name, "Evil" (あく).
