From Proto-Albanian *pizda, from Proto-Indo-European *písdeh₂ (“vagina”).[1] Cognate with Serbo-Croatian pizda, Old Prussian peisda (“ass”), Persian پیزی‎ (pīzī, “ass, anus”).
