     In 1991-1992, the Archaeology Section, Tianjin Municipal Museum of History, carried out survey and trial excavation at the Lancheng site to the south of Lancheng village in Gaocun township, Wuqing county, Tianjin, which resulted in the revelation of an ash-pit, an ash-trench and two wells.
