Thadou people
Thadou people are an indigenous tribe of Kuki people inhabiting Northeast India. Thadou is a dialect of the Kuki-Chin languages. Thadou populations have been reported only in India — some small populations have settled in Nagaland, Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Delhi.[1]
Haokip is a common surname among Thadou people of the prominent Haokip clan.
