Khromove
Khromove (Ukrainian: Хромове), known as Artemivske (Ukrainian: Арте́мівське) prior to 2016, is a rural-type settlement in eastern Ukraine, located in Bakhmut Raion, Donetsk Oblast.

History
In 2023, during the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Khromove was attacked by Russian forces as part of the Battle of Bakhmut.[1] Control of Khromove would allow Russian forces to cut off Ukrainian supply lines and assault nearby Chasiv Yar.[2]
Demographics
According to the 2001 Ukrainian Census, the population of the settlement was 1054. Of these, 59.68% spoke Ukrainian, 38.52% spoke Russian, and 1.8% spoke other languages. [3]
