The 2023 Azerbaijan Grand Prix (officially known as the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2023) is a Formula One motor race scheduled to be held on 30 April 2023 at the Baku City Circuit in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Background
The event will be held across the weekend of 28–30 April 2023.[1] It will be the fourth round of the 2023 Formula One World Championship. The weekend will be the first of six in the season to follow the sprint format.[3]
Championship standings before the race
Going into the weekend, Max Verstappen leads the World Drivers' Championship with 69 points, 15 points from his teammate Sergio Pérez, second, and 24 from Fernando Alonso in third. Red Bull Racing, with 123 points, lead the Constructors' Championship from Aston Martin and Mercedes, who are second and third with 65 and 56 points, respectively.[4]
