In Serving Up the Flute Cup!, a Yellow Flute was included in the set of flutes promised for the winner of the Battle Frontier Flute Cup, which was eventually won by Ash.
Trivia
- The Yellow Flute (along with the Blue Flute and Red Flute) was moved to the medicine pocket in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, meaning that it has been in three different bag pockets over three generations.
- The Yellow Flute is the only one of the flutes obtainable in an Orre game, being obtainable in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness.
