Plasma Freeze is the name given to the ninth main expansion of the Black & White Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. In Japan, it was released as the Spiral Force and Thunder Knuckle dual expansions that make up the eighth expansion block in the Pokémon Card Game BW Era. It is based on Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, featuring Generation V Pokémon and Team Plasma. The English expansion was released on May 8, 2013, while the Japanese expansions were released on December 14, 2012.

Most Pokémon have shards of ice in their artwork, this was a reference to the event in Pokémon Black and White Versions 2, when Team Plasma used the Plasma Frigate and the power of Kyurem to freeze Opelucid City and the surrounding area.

The Spiral Force and Thunder Knuckle sets are released in Japanese and Korean. The Japanese sets are available in both 1st and unlimited edition, and the Korean sets are only available in unlimited edition. The Plasma Freeze set is released in English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish, with cards also available as Reverse Holos.
