Mysterious Component

The Mysterious Component (Japanese: ふしぎなパーツ Mysterious Parts) is an item in Pokémon GO. Since November 2019, Team GO Rocket Grunts will drop a Mysterious Component upon being defeated. If the player collects six Mysterious Components, they will combine into a Rocket Radar, which can be used to locate and battle Team GO Rocket Leaders.

A Mysterious Component

Professor Willow hypothesized that Mysterious Components are what Team GO Rocket uses to invade PokéStops; however, they appear to have other functions as well.[1] Following the end of GO Fest 2020, a video was posted on Twitter showing the Team GO Rocket Leaders each using a Mysterious Component to communicate with Giovanni.[2]
