This song is also featured on the soundtrack to the sixth Pokémon movie, Jirachi: Wish Maker Music Collection, Pikachu Records ZMCP-1579.

In the movie's English dub, titled Jirachi: Wish Maker, the original Japanese version of A Small Thing was combined with an English adaptation for the ending theme. This song is called Make a Wish. A music video of the original unedited Japanese version of the song was also included on the English DVD under the Make a Wish title.

In the anime, an instrumental arrangement of it, A Small Thing ~Lullaby~, is among the most played pieces of music from a movie score, being heard even in dubs. The lyrical song was also heard in BW132.

  • This is one of only two lyrical songs from the Japanese version of Pokémon to be included in the English dub of the movie it was originally included in, the other being Secret Garden.
