I want to print the following model upright:

Unfortunately the original author does not provide an upright version, and I don't know how I could automatically make it upright.
I have tried doing it manually, but I could not get it perfectly right. This resulted in a strange first layer which would not stick.
I have tried the Face to align method of Cura, but it also could not get it right.
How could I do this? I definitively need an automatic method. Doing it by hand didn't work for me.
