postathon (plural postathons)

1. (slang) A period in which many messages are posted (as to an Internet newsgroup or forum).
   • 1999, "Eldio", Another Postathon In Progress... (on newsgroup soc.penpals)
   • 2001, "SmUK", SmUK (on newsgroup alt.tv.red-dwarf)

     My first few days are always postathons because I'm catching up to all the old posts. If I was working at the capacity I was at before, I'd be up to about 150 by now, you know.

     As if your hair-splitting, shifting-sands postathons are the lonely voice of reason in an uncomprehending universe.
