coolroom (plural coolrooms)

1. (chemistry) An item of laboratory equipment: a large cupboard, or room kept below room temperature, for long-term stable storage.
2. An item of restaurant equipment. A large cupboard, or room kept at a temperature lower than room temperature for long term, stable storage of perishable foods.
