Etymology
From Lithuanian Romuva, a Baltic pagan temple known in mediaeval records as Romowe. The term "Romuva" means "sanctuary" or "adobe of inner peace", from the Baltic root ram-/rām- (peaceful, quiet), ultimately from Proto-Indo-European *(e)remǝ.
