The production version was first shown on January 4, 2023 at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.[3][4]

Overview

ID. Aero

The model was first previewed by the Volkswagen ID. Aero concept car in June 2022.[5]

Production version

The world premiere of the all-electric ID.7 will take place on April 17, 2023,[2] featuring lithium-ion battery packs with usable capacities of 77 kWh and 85 kWh.[6][7]

The dashboard features a small digital instrument display as well as a head-up display with augmented reality functions for sat nav and in the center a new 15.0-inch infotainment touchscreen.[6]
