The Lever
The Lever (formerly known as The Daily Poster) is a progressive American news outlet founded by David Sirota. It also publishes a podcast, Lever Time. Sirota first launched the outlet, called The Daily Poster, in April 2020, as a reader-supported news outlet on Substack.[1][2] It was renamed The Lever in March 2022.[3] The Lever publishes investigative journalism from freelance reporters who contribute to other news outlets, including Newsweek, Jacobin, and The American Prospect.[4]
