Swift Treweeke

Swift Treweeke (born 20 November 1979) is an Australian electronic music producer, rapper, vocalist, painter, label owner, and stage performer. Treweeke has been active since at least 1997 and has been a part of at least 7 different music projects, the most popular of which being Passenger of Shit, an extreme Speedcore and Breakcore act active since 1999, and MC Bushpig, a Horrorcore act. Treweeke is known both for heavily influencing the genres of Horrorcore and Breakcore in the mid-2000s and for his controversial image based around extreme bodily harm and scat. He is the owner of Shitwank Records, a record label based around extreme breakcore and speedcore, and Butchers Harem Productions, a Horrorcore label.[2]

Early life

Swift Treweeke was born on November 20, 1979, in Katoomba, New South Wales. His father, Vernon Treweeke, was an influential Australian psychedelic artist.

Career

In 1997, Treweeke co-founded Shitwank Records, which he has self released music on for his entire career.

Treweeke's earliest known project released in 1998, a Noise live album.[3]

In 1999, he would begin the Passenger of Shit project, releasing "Untitled" in 2000, with all of the songs from this tape later being included on a later release, "2", also in 2000. Throughout the rest of the 2000s, Treweeke would continue to release albums under Passenger of Shit while also frequently performing shows in the woods near his home, helping develop the underground alt electronic scene in Australia.

In around 2001, Treweeke would found the groups Randid Shitwank, a noise collective, and Suicidal Rap Orgy, a Horrorcore group. By 2004, after releasing a single album, Suicidal Rap Orgy disbanded and later reformed into a separate Horrorcore group called Butchers Harem.

In 2007, Treweeke released his first solo album under MC Bushpig, Wank of Death. This album would go on to become possibly his best known album, with a fan made music video for the song "Eat My Rotten Meat" attracting nearly 300,000 views on Newgrounds. That same year he founded Butchers Harem Productions, a record label specializing in Horrorcore.

Treweeke's most popular individual song to date is "Staple Tapeworms on my Penis", off of the 2007 Passenger of Shit album "7". To date, the song has over 1,000,000 views on YouTube and [4]

As of 2023, Treweeke has been a part of at least 59 projects spread out across his myriad aliases and groups. His most prolific project is Passenger of Shit, with 22 projects being released under that name.

Art

Treweeke is also a prolific painter, having drawn the cover art for most of his albums. His work deals with surrealist landscapes, with genital mutilation, scat, gore, and nails being motifs in nearly all of his paintings.[5]
