Ottoman soldiers spread to Karaman and Pir Ahmed fled to Taşeli. The Sultan took Gevele, the capital of Karamanids, Konya, and Larende, and gave the administration of the province to Prince Mustafa[1][2]

While Mehmed sent some of his forces under the command of Mahmud Pasha to Larende, he himself conquered Konya. He then took Gevale, a highly fortified castle in the vicinity of Konya.[3][4]
