Muhammad Syafiq Puteh

Muhammad Syafiq bin Puteh (born 20 October 1995) is a Malaysian diver. He competes in 1m springboard, 3m springboard, mixed synchronized diving 3m and synchronized diving 3m.[2]

In this Malay name, there is no family name. The name Puteh is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by the given name, Muhammad Syafiq. The Arabic-derived word "bin" or "binti"/"binte", if used, means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively.
