Mrs Undercover
Mrs Undercover is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language spy comedy movie directed by Anushree Mehta and produced by Abir Sengupta, Anushree Mehta, Varun Bajaj, Ishan Saksena and Sunil Shah.[1] The film stars an Radhika Apte, Sumeet Vyas and Rajesh Sharma in key roles.[2][3] The film is scheduled to release on April 14, 2023, on ZEE5.[4]

Plot
Radhika Apte plays a spy who is suddenly called on the job after ten years of staying undercover as a housewife named Durga. In the ten years, staying true to her cover, she remained a caring housewife married to a patriarchal husband almost forgetting that she was after all an undercover spy.[5][6]

Production
The film was announced in March 2021 after the first wave of Covid pandemic in India.[8] The started shooting in Kolkata amidst the second wave in 2021.[9] Actor Sumeet Vyas reportedly was infected with COVID-19 while he was amidst shooting for the film.[10]
Marketing
The first poster of Mrs Undercover was released on March 8, 2023, to commemorate International Women’s Day.[11] The trailer of the movie was launched on March 30, 2023.[12]
