Miss Trudy started her YouTube journey in 2017 and she is one of the most Influential YouTubers in Africa.[8][9][10]

Early life and education

She attended Milimani Primary school and shiners girls high school, Nakuru before enrolling at the St Pauls University of Kenya from where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication[9]

Career

She started creating YouTube content using her mobile phone in 2017 but her broke through in 2019 when president Uhuru Kenyatta launched the Standard Gauge Railway and she pioneered documenting her project (SGR) journey from Nairobi to Mombasa.[2] Her detailed narration including interviews with the train staff attracted thousands of viewers in excess of 100,000 views.[2] Miss Trudy then inspired more vlogers who then jump into the SGR content.[2] She appraised restaurants, salons, hotels, and residential houses and focused her channel on African travel, breaking the stereotypes often associated with the continent through her positive videos and pictorials of the several countries she visits.[8]

Personal life

She has a Ghanaian Husband and business partner[11][12] called Wode Maya who is also a YouTuber with whom they occasionally work.[13][14][15]
