This included providing advice during the 2017 General Election where Corbyn was successful in gaining 30 seats for the Labour Party and forcing Prime Minister Theresa May into a minority government.[2][3]

Following his time at BMG, Turner became the Head of Research for Crosby Textor (C/T Group). During this time Turner conducted polling and provided advice to clients including as chief pollster for the Liberal Party of Australia and the UK Conservative Party including during the 2019 Australian Federal Election [4] which saw the Morrison government re-elected, and the 2019 UK General Election which saw the Conservatives elected in an 80-seat landslide under the leadership of Boris Johnson.[5]
Freshwater Strategy
In July 2022, Turner and three other C/T Group directors left C/T to establish their own strategic consultancy: Freshwater Strategy.[6] At Freshwater, Turner worked for Liz Truss in her successful campaign for leadership of the UK Conservative Party, although he was later critical of her decision-making during her brief tenure as Prime Minister.[7]
