Lynn Favin

Lynn Favin is an American actress and voice artist. She is known for voicing Supergirl and sixteen other characters on the animated series Robot Chicken, in addition to television roles on The Get Down, Veep, and Rachel Dratch's Late Night Snack. She is a regular actress with the AFI in Los Angeles, and currently resides in New York City.

Early life and education

Favin attended Montgomery Blair High School[1]. She then got her B.A. in Psychology and Theater from Wesleyan University, where she appeared in numerous plays and musicals.[2] She got her Master in Fine Arts in acting from the Old Vic in Bristol, England. She is also a former member of The Groundlings (in Los Angeles) and Broadway Comedy Club (in New York City).[3]

Theater

After graduation, she played Rosalind in As You Like It with the Baltimore Shakespeare Factory[4] and Glauce in the world premiere of Medea: A Rock Cantata[5] before booking her first National Tour, playing Ophelia in Hamlet,[6] Lily in The Giver,[7] the Narrator/Cellist in Grapes of Wrath[8] in repertory in 2016. She was the Inaugural Equity Guest Artist for Shakespeare on the Bluff in Los Angeles,[9] and appeared as a Witch in Macbeth with the Shakespeare Theater of Los Angeles.[10] Other regional Equity credits include Life x 3 at Coachella Valley Rep.[11]

Voiceover

Favin is a major recurring voice actor on Robot Chicken portraying seventeen characters, in addition to video game work on Raw Data. She has voiced over fifty commercials for Disney, Acura, Marshalls, and others.[12]

Television

She has acted on Veep, Rachel Dratch's Late Night Snack, The Get Down, and The Show Must Go Online. Her on-camera national commercial work includes spots for Subway, Dramamine, American University, and Amazon Prime's Jean-Claude Van Johnson.[13]
