Leith Ross (singer)

Leith Ross is a Canadian indie rock singer and guitarist. Their music is noted for its yearning quality and introspective lyrical style, as well as explorations of topics including queerness, anxiety, sexual violence, and relationships.[1][2][3][4]

In August 2021, Ross went viral on TikTok for their original song “We’ll Never Have Sex", which now has over 41 million streams on Spotify.[5][6]

Career

In the fall of 2022, Ross performed sold-out headline shows across North America. Throughout 2022, Ross supported Lord Huron in Canada and Andy Shauf and Helena Deland in Europe on tour.[7][8]

Ross was the recipient of the inaugural John Prine Songwriter Fellowship at the 2022 Newport Folk Festival.[9][10]

In March 2023, Ross announced their spring 2023 headline tour dates across North America, UK, and Europe—which sold out nearly instantly, resulting in venue upgrades and new dates added across the tour.[11][12]

Ross's debut album, To Learn, will be released May 19, 2023.[13][14]
