Lakshman Acharya
Lakshman Acharya (born 3 October 1955) is an Indian politician who is currently serving as the 16th and current Governor of Sikkim since 2023.[1] He was the member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Acharya was also a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council from the Varanasi Division Graduates Constituency in Varanasi district.[2][3][4] He is related to kharwar tribes.
