KBS Classic FM
KBS Classic FM (also known as KBS 1FM) is a South Korean radio network operated by the Korean Broadcasting System. Most of the schedule is assigned to classical music, making it one of the few radio networks in the world that broadcast mainly in its music format (notable ones include ABC Classic FM in Syndey, Australia and BBC Radio 3 in London, United Kingdom).

History
- April 2, 1979 - Started KBS FM broadcasting (ultra-high frequency 93.1MHz).
- December 1, 1980 - At midnight, KBS FM was renamed KBS 1st FM while absorbing TBC FM through media consolidation. Switched to a channel specializing in classical music such as Western classical music.
- March 7, 1981: Commercial broadcasting resumed.
- January 25, 1982 : Commercial broadcasting was conducted on weekends, holidays, and weekdays.
- September 30 , 1994: Commercial broadcasting was last transmitted.
- October 1, 1994: STL digitalization (using APT-X codec) conversion between Namsan Transmission Center and Yeouido Performance Center. With the improvement of the license fee collection system as an opportunity, commercial broadcasting was abolished along with channels of KBS 1TV and KBS Radio 1.
- April 16, 2007: The first FM broadcasting of KBS was nicknamed "KBS Classic FM".
- 2007: Moved the main transmission center from Namsan Mountain to Gwanaksan Mountain along with KBS 2FM Broadcasting.
- 2009: Live broadcast of all Beethoven piano concerts to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the founding of the country.
