Jonathan Bermúdez
Jonathan Alberto Bermúdez (born October 16, 1995) is a Puerto Rican professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent.

Career
Bermúdez was born in Coamo, Puerto Rico.[1] He played college baseball at Saint Leo University and Southeastern University. In 2018 pitching for Southeastern he was 15–2 with a 1.95 ERA in 110.2 innings, and led the Sun Conference with 153 strikeouts.[2]
Houston Astros
He was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 23rd round of the 2018 Major League Baseball Draft.[3] The Astros added him to their 40-man roster after the 2021 season.[4] He was designated for assignment on August 20, 2022.
San Francisco Giants
On August 23, 2022, Bermúdez was claimed off waivers by the Giants. In 2022 with the Triple-A Sacramento River Cats, he was 0–3 in five starts with a 9.22 ERA over 13.2 innings in which he gave up seven home runs and struck out 16 batters.[5] Bermúdez was released by the Giants on March 27, 2023.[6]
