Career

Gandelin previously worked for the Prost team before moving to Sauber, where he spent a long time as head of concept and was very closely linked to the design office. Gandelin was promoted to chief designer at Sauber in mid-2013, as a replacement for Matt Morris, who left that role to join McLaren.[1]

Sauber's Formula 1 team was renamed Alfa Romeo Racing in early 2019. However, ownership and management of the team remained unchanged and independent.
