NCT DoJaeJung

NCT DoJaeJung (Korean: 엔시티 도재정; stylized as all caps) is the fifth sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT, formed and managed by SM Entertainment. The group consists of three members: Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo. They will debut on April 17, 2023, with their extended play (EP) Perfume.

Name

NCT DoJaeJung is a combination of the main group NCT and the names of the three members: "Do" from Doyoung, "Jae" from Jaehyun and "Jung" from Jungwoo.[1]

History

2022: Formation

In late 2022, NCT DoJaeJung was formed for the first time when they performed the song "Can We Go Back" on NCT 127 2nd Tour Neo City – The Link+ in Seoul.[2] The trio also performed the same song on 2022 MBC Gayo Daejejeon.[3]

2023–present: Debut with Perfume

In March 2023, SM Entertainment confirmed that NCT DoJaeJung will debut as new unit of NCT and would released their debut extended play Perfume on April 17.[4][5][6]
