Digvijay Singh Chautala

Digvijay Singh Chautala is Indian politician. He is younger son of Ajay Singh Chautala and Naina Singh Chautala. He is the grandson of former Deputy Prime Minister of India. His elder brother is Dushyant Chautala who is currently serving as Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana.[1][2]

He is a member of Jannayak Janta Party since 2018.

Electoral history

In 2019 Haryana Legislative Assembly by-election, he contested from Jind but lost against current ally Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Krishan Lal Middha margin of 12,935 votes and came second.[3]

In 2019 Indian general election, he was fielded from Sonipat against Congress heavyweight and former Chief Minister of Haryana Bhupinder Singh Hooda but lost and came third. He got less then 5% votes.[4][5] BJP candidate won from that seat.[6]

Personal life

In March 2023, he married to Lagan Randhawa daughter of former Congress MLA from Punjab, Sawinder Singh Kathunangal.[7][8]
