Delivery Boy(film)

Delivery Boy [1] is an upcoming 2023 Indian Odia-language Drama film directed by Ashwin Tripathy, starring Sailendra Samantaray,[2] Suryamayee Mahapatra, Priyambada Swain, Pupul Bhuyan and Buddhaditya Mohanty. The film produced by Jyoti Ranjan Mohanty, is based on the struggle of delivery boys in urban areas in their daily lives. It shows the fight of protagonist, a delivery boy, for justice after he meets a road accident.[3]

Plot

Partha works as a delivery boy for a food delivery company. Partha's friend faces a road accident while rushing to deliver a parcel on time and Partha faces some difficulties.[4]

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik gave his approval to a proposal for waiver of the entertainment tax on the film, according to a release from chief minister's office (CMO). “Our government has been working on attracting more and more films to be shot in Odisha. It would not only provide scope to the talents of the state but also generate employment,” the chief minister said.[5] The film is slated for April 7, 2023 release.
