Darsah
Darsah (Arabic: درسة) is an uninhabited island in the Guardafui Channel. It is part of the Socotra Archipelago of Yemen. Darsah and neighboring Samhah (17 km (11 mi) to the west) are collectively known as "Al Akhawain" (Arabic: الأخوين) which means "The Brothers". There is a dispute between Yemen and Somalia's government over the island's sovereignty.[1]

Flora and Fauna
Darsah is a desert island located in the Red Sea. Despite its arid conditions, the island is home to a variety of wildlife. The island’s bird population includes red-billed tropicbirds and brown boobies.[2] The island has been recognized as an Important Bird Area (IBA) by BirdLife International due to its significance as a breeding ground for these species. Darsah island is also home to a large population of rats. It is estimated that there are over 1000 rats on the island.
