Career

Their first release was 'Fresh New Beat' on Danamite, DJ Dana's label in 2005. Since their debut, they have played at major dance events such as Qlimax and Defqon.1 Festival. In 2006, they became owners of their own record label, Next Chapter. They gave up their own record label for a place at Scantraxx Recordz. Here they soon got their own sub-label, Scantraxx Evolutionz. On January 22, 2011, D-Block & S-te-Fan threw their own X-Qlusive event.

In mid-2014 they decided to broaden their musical horizons under the name DBSTF. This led to a collaboration with the duo Blasterjaxx at the end of 2014, from which the track "Beautiful World" was released on January 5, 2015. They still make hardstyle under their original name.[1]

In 2019 they launched a live act, Ghost Stories.[2]

Infuences

The music of D-Block & S-te-Fan was initially influenced by UK hard house and German hard trance from Cosmic Gate, Tom Harding, JP and Scot Project, among others. Later they were DJ Zany, The Prophet, Deepack, Dana and DJ Luna.[3]
