Chengiz: The One Who Has No Boundaries No Limits or Chengiz is an upcoming 2023 Indian Bengali-language period action thriller film co-written and directed by Rajesh Ganguly from a story written by Neeraj Pandey and himself. The film is produced by Jeet, Gopal Madnani and Amit Jumrani. The action of this film is directed by Stunt Silva.[1] The film stars Jeet in the lead role. The supporting cast includes Sushmita Chatterjee, Rohit Roy and Shataf Figar.[2][3][4] The story of the film revolves around a gangster from Kolkata from the 70s to the mid 90s.

Chengiz will be theatrically released in India on 21 April 2023 in Bengali, along with dubbed versions in Hindi language.[5] It is the first Bengali film to be released simultaneously in Bengali and Hindi language .[5]

Synopsis

The movie revolves around the underworld fabric of Calcutta from the 70s to the mid-90s. The one who ruled the streets then was Chengiz. The film chronicles his life journey in an interesting way.[6]

Teaser

The official Bengali teaser of the film was released on 30 November 2022.[9] The official Hindi teaser of the film was released on 23 March 2023.[10]

Film

The film will release simultaneously in Bengali and Hindi theatrically on 21st April 2023.[12][13]

Soundtrack

The first song "Widda" was released on 27 March 2023 in Bengali and Hindi.The second song "Ebhabe Ke Daake" was released on 8 April 2023 in Bengali. And "Teri Meri Baatein" was released on 8 April 2023 in Hindi.[14]
