Basak, Lapu-Lapu City
Basak is a Barangay in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu Province, Central Visayas, Philippines. It shares a border with Pusok and Bankal in the northeast, Pajac and Agus in the east, Marigondon and Subabasbas in the southeast, Babag and Gun-ob in the west, and Pajo in the northwest. In 2020, Basak is home to 71,990 residents.[1]

Geography
Basak is situated in the south of Lapu-Lapu City, north of the Gabi River. It covers a total area of 8.007 square kilometers.[2] Its average elevation is at 5 metres above the sea level.[3]
