Club career

Ali Ebadi started his career as a youth player at Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya.[1] In 2019 he signed for Al-Naft, before signing for Al-Kahrabaa two years later. He has since established himself as the starting goalkeeper in Luay Salah’s side.

International career

Qahtan Chathir called Ebadi up for the Iraq under-17 side that went to the 2017 edition of the FIFA U-17 World Cup where he started all three group-stage matches and their 5-1 defeat to Mali in the last-16.

He hadn’t represented Iraq internationally since then until Jesús Casas called him up for the first team ahead of the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup. He was initially in the preliminary squad, excluded from the final squad, but was then added to the final squad two days later.
