2023 World Ringette Championships
The 2023 World Ringette Championships (2023 WRC) is an international ringette tournament and the 15th (XV) World Ringette Championships and will be contested in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, from October 31 to November 4, 2023.[1] The host venue for the event will be the Canada Olympic Park (COP), WinSport Arenas, and the Greater Alberta Arena. It will mark the 60th anniversary of the sport of ringette which was invented in 1963. The tournament is organized by the International Ringette Federation (IRF).

The 2023 World Ringette Championships will feature the national Senior, U-21 and U-18 ringette teams from Canada and Finland. As part of the competition, the President's Pool will include teams from Sweden, Czechia, and the US.
The general format for the world competition was changed for this tournament with 2 important events: The U18 International Development Festival (Under-18) and the 2023 World Ringette Championships which will have a President's Pool for developing ringette nations, U21 Pool, and a separate Senior program.[1]
Overview
U18 International Development Festival
Canada will host its first-ever U-18 International Development Festival, featuring athletes from multiple countries. The event will conclude with an international intersquad game, as well as Canada Red and Canada White games against Finland.[1]
World Ringette Championships
The upcoming World Championship will consist of two pools and a senior program which function differently from previous years.
President's Pool
The President's Pool will include Czechia, Sweden, and the USA.
U21 Pool
A separate U-21 (Under 21) World Championship will be a pool featuring Canada and Finland.
Senior Program
During the World Championship, Ringette Canada's senior program will participate in two Red-White scrimmages.

Venues
The tournament will be contested in Calgary, Alberta, Canada at the Canada Olympic Park (COP), WinSport Arenas, and the Greater Alberta Arena. The Winsport Arenas comprise of three NHL-sized rinks and an international-sized ice rink that can accommodate up to 3,000 spectators.
