Introduction

This is a guide on how to get off the back panel of Motorola Moto G Power (2020). This guide is prerequisite for all of repairs regarding this device. This step should be very easy. Just be careful with the fingerprint sensor!

Step 1

Place a suction cup on the back of the device.
Open up the back of the device by sliding the opening pick into both sides of the phone.
Do not remove the back panel completely; you must disconnect the fingerprint sensor first.

Step 2

Put pressure on the fingerprint sensor with your finger to detach it from the back panel.
You may have to use significant force to get the circular sensor off the panel.
